It's finally happening!
For many Horror fans, Suspiria is the Holy Grail, and rightly so. Based on color schemes alone the film is a piece of art. Add in Argento's visual flair, some wickedly inventive and graphic death scenes, and a haunting (as always) Goblin score, and you have one of the purest, most enjoyable Horror experiences you're likely to ever have. Plus, who doesn't like creepy witches?
If anyone can give this all-time classic film the Blu-ray restoration treatment that it deserves, it's definitely Don May and the folks over at Synapse. They've spent the last 4 years working on this new 4k transfer, frame by frame, and after the stellar job that they did with Curtains (read the review HERE), they have our undying loyalty, and we'll be ordering a copy of Suspiria immediately.
