Trailer: Oats Studios (2017)

Posted on 00:10 by alok
Director Neill Blomkamp is apparently starting his own movie studio called Oats Studios, the idea being that he can create a bunch of experimental short films that can be turned into feature films later on. And it's also a outlet for the crazy shit that runs through his mind.

We of course are still holding out hope that we get a sequel to District 9 -because we're still waiting for Christopher Johnson to come back!- but until then, we're more than happy to see what else he's got up his creative sleeve, and if this trailer is any indication, it's a lot of weird, awesome, and weirdly awesome stuff.

Sigourney Weaver, Dakota Fanning, a spooky skeleton, lizard monsters, explosions, a guy in a cool exoskeleton.... we're all in on this one.

Look for material from Oats Studios to drop soon, right HERE on their website.
